Demo Begins Near Crabapple

It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday. But we hope replacing the Cotton House and neighbor shops with a fine boutique hotel will make it a little bit easier. Adjacent to a tree ripe with crabapples, demolition has begun on what will soon be known as the Cotton House Hotel in downtown Alpharetta, Georgia.

Boutique Hotel Coming to Alpharetta

The revised plan proposes a hotel of 119 rooms, four stories and 56 feet in height, lowered from the prior 120 rooms, five floors and 60 to 67 feet. Old Canton will remain open.  According to the applicant, the property will be a Curio Collection by Hilton or a Hotel Indigo by IHG. Read more…

Boutique Hotel Proposed For Downtown Alpharetta

The city of Alpharetta has received plans that, if approved, would bring a boutique hotel to Milton Avenue in downtown. According to plans submitted by Mayfair Street Partners, The Cotton House Hotel would be situated on about .9 acres on the north side of Milton Avenue at Old Canton Street. Read more…
